Retouching focuses
primarily on cosmetic issues. The service is performed on quality images to correct human imperfections. See the Restorations page for help with an aged or damaged photograph.
There are two basic types of retouching. The first is a basic cosmetic touch-up. This
is done to eliminate red eye, acne, warts, moles, freckles, or other blemishes. The
second type is an advanced touch-up, or glamour. All the basic cosmetic issues are dealt with, but with a glamour
touch-up we shoot for that magazine-like standard of perfection. Broken noses can be straightened, missing teeth can
be replaced, skin is softened, wrinkles removed, and so on as desired.
The service runs
$15.00 for basic cosmetic retouching and $60.00 for glamour retouching, which takes a lot more time.
The
turn around time is usually the same day, but varies depending on our current work load and what needs to be
done to the photograph.
